English Language Challenges

Hello again, this last post will be about the most important aspects that I have learned during this semester in the English branch "Intermediate". First of all, I want to tell you that my experience in English has had two sides. One bitter, with the English course "pre-intermediate", where he did nothing, nor exercises. In fact, I did not have classes for a month. And on the other hand, the experience of English "intermediate" where the teacher tried to make classes more enjoyable, jokings, but explaining at the same time, and I must say that this experience was better than the previous one because I learned a little more. As a second point, the use of the blog, I feel that it helped me to express myself and to develop a little more the written part of English. I already have more facilities to listen and read, but when it comes to speaking or writing, it is very difficult for me. And it was precisely what the course dealt with. With respect

Changes to my study program

Hi! It's me again. today I want to talk to you about the changes that I would like to make in my study program.  As I have mentioned on other occasions, I study in FACSO, the psychology degree. In this career, there are quite a few things that I would like to change so I will go detailing them one by one. First the facilities, in terms of structure. In FACSO, the rooms are small, sometimes there are courses of 65 students and many of them are left without a place. This is also because there are no more tables or chairs, because of the little space there is. Another thing, with regard to this, is that there are some precarious conditions, such as the one mentioned above, in addition to the lack of heating and ventilation in each of the rooms. Many times in the summer, it is unbearable to be in the rooms, because of the number of people and the hot air that forms. In addition to this, in FACSO, there is no casino for students either, there is a casino-style venue, but they do no

TRANSANTIASCO

Hello, today I come to write to you about my opinion regarding public transport. This is because I am a regular user of public transport, like all Chileans, and to reach a more or less central place. In Chile, specifically in Santiago, the "public transparent" is called Transantiago, and it is paid. Their prices are related to the schedule, in low hours (06:00-06:29 and 20:45-23: 00) it is worth $ 680, in valley hours (06:30-06: 59, 09:00-17:59 and 20:00-20:44) costs $ 700 and during peak hours (07:00-8:59 and 18:00-19:59) (Source: https://www.transantiago.cl/tarifas-y-pagos/conoce-las-tarifas). To this system is also added the "Metro", which are underground lines and on land that covers almost the entire metropolitan region. Currently, the subway has 6 lines, but work is being done so that its expansion reaches 10 lines. Both types of transport are joined by stops, intermodal, etc. and they also join in the benefits. The benefits of this system are: 1.-) For b

My favorite TV Show

Hi! This is my again. Today I want to talk about my favorite TV show.  Well, in the first place, I have to tell you, that I'm a person that I like to see so much series (or TV shows) and movies. I really enjoy them to much.  That's why I have some much favourites series. Like "Grey's Anatomy", "Supernatural", "Breaking Bad", among others. But the most that I like is "Grey's Anatomy".  This series is the one that I like the most with respect to the others because, despite the many seasons, there is always a different plot developed by each of the characters. It's like following your life throughout each episode. In addition to this, I like it because although the operations or procedures performed are not real, the contents such as names of instruments, diseases, organics, etc., if they are. Then, you can also learn about human anatomy in each episode. Although, clearly there are some diseases that are too

A lot of things to do!

A lot of things to do... Hello again! Today I will tell you about a postgraduate degree or a program that I would like to study, after finishing my career (psychology). Gastronomy First of all, I want to tell you about the great indecision I had when choosing a career. I wanted to study 4 different careers, but not because I did not know what I wanted, but because I liked and was good at those 4 things. That is, architecture, industrial design, psychology and gastronomy, out there I also had the doubt with the law degree, but I finally rejected the option of law and architecture, and I stayed with the other 3 that I had in mind. Industrial Design After so much thinking and evaluating the pros and cons, I chose to study psychology, hoping to study one of the other two careers in Chile, after finishing. So lately, I thought about studying a gastronomy technical career after finishing the psychology degree. And also, to have as a hobby the construction and indu

My Dreamy Job

My dreamy Job This post it was titled "My dream Job", and it's about the expectations I have for my future work. First of all, I would like to tell you about what I am studying. The psychology degree It is usually frowned upon by some people because for some the psychologists are useless for nothing more than to spend money.  This being my context, I decided to leave the original scheme, so to speak, and not perform therapy in Box. But to work as a community psychologist and specialize on this. Work directly with the community and help them from that point. So my work would be in the field -outddoors-, going to communities, visiting houses or doing workshops or projects. And that is what I really like, to work with people, but not in a closed room, but instead where thoughts and feelings can flourish, where the context is pleasant and does not make you want to leave. Regarding salary, I still do not know what to expect. I do not know the

SOCIAL NETWORKS, A WORLD TO DISCOVER

SOCIAL NETWORKS, A WORLD TO DISCOVER As the title says, in this blog I will talk about social networks, what is my favorite, how often I use them, among other things. Currently, social networks have become of great importance for the Society, especially for the younger ones. It is worth saying that social networks are a double-edged sword, as they serve to connect with people of the world, know and share experiences, places, among other things. They can also be used against us. You can filter personal data, suffer extortion with photographs, generate hatred towards a community, among other things. But, well, people still use them, just like me. Personally, my favorite ones are WhatsApp, although I'm not sure if it's a social network, or an instantaneous messaging application, and Instagram. Both applications I use quite often every day. Sometimes when I'm bored or I have free time. Or other times, when I need to communicate with someone and I can’t cal
