TRANSANTIASCO

Hello, today I come to write to you about my opinion regarding public transport. This is because I am a regular user of public transport, like all Chileans, and to reach a more or less central place.

In Chile, specifically in Santiago, the "public transparent" is called Transantiago, and it is paid. Their prices are related to the schedule, in low hours (06:00-06:29 and 20:45-23: 00) it is worth $ 680, in valley hours (06:30-06: 59, 09:00-17:59 and 20:00-20:44) costs $ 700 and during peak hours (07:00-8:59 and 18:00-19:59) (Source: https://www.transantiago.cl/tarifas-y-pagos/conoce-las-tarifas). To this system is also added the "Metro", which are underground lines and on land that covers almost the entire metropolitan region. Currently, the subway has 6 lines, but work is being done so that its expansion reaches 10 lines. Both types of transport are joined by stops, intermodal, etc. and they also join in the benefits.

The benefits of this system are:
1.-) For basic education students the fee is $ 0 (Chilean pesos)
2.-) For students of secondary and higher education, the rate reaches a value of $ 220 (Chilean pesos)
3.-) Two transshipments with the same passage in 120 minutes.
4.-) Emergency trip, where money is lent for a ticket in case there is no balance on the card, until the next recharge.
(Source: https://www.transantiago.cl/tarifas-y-pagos/conoce-las-tarifas).

On the other hand, as in all things, there is a bad side. In this case, one of the great shortcomings that have the Transantiago, is the little frequency that the buses have when making their journey in some places, in my case, every day I wait between 20 to 35 minutes for a bus and I have to do 2 or 3 transfers so I sometimes have to pay two tickets. And in addition, the time in which the tours are made, since it is usually too much, on the one hand for the wait, and on the other, are the traffic jams on the streets as well as the excessively full minibusses. Another thing, which is not necessarily the fault of public transport, is the excess of vehicles, the deficiency in the streets, streets that are impossible to transit, among other things, which cause transportation to be deficient.

  1. I think there are more bad things than good things in relation to Transantiago. Apart from the waiting times and the overpopulation that transits in Transantiago, the prices are high for a service of medium - low quality.

My Dreamy Job

My dreamy Job This post it was titled "My dream Job", and it's about the expectations I have for my future work. First of all, I would like to tell you about what I am studying. The psychology degree It is usually frowned upon by some people because for some the psychologists are useless for nothing more than to spend money.  This being my context, I decided to leave the original scheme, so to speak, and not perform therapy in Box. But to work as a community psychologist and specialize on this. Work directly with the community and help them from that point. So my work would be in the field -outddoors-, going to communities, visiting houses or doing workshops or projects. And that is what I really like, to work with people, but not in a closed room, but instead where thoughts and feelings can flourish, where the context is pleasant and does not make you want to leave. Regarding salary, I still do not know what to ...

A lot of things to do!

A lot of things to do... Hello again! Today I will tell you about a postgraduate degree or a program that I would like to study, after finishing my career (psychology). Gastronomy First of all, I want to tell you about the great indecision I had when choosing a career. I wanted to study 4 different careers, but not because I did not know what I wanted, but because I liked and was good at those 4 things. That is, architecture, industrial design, psychology and gastronomy, out there I also had the doubt with the law degree, but I finally rejected the option of law and architecture, and I stayed with the other 3 that I had in mind. Industrial Design After so much thinking and evaluating the pros and cons, I chose to study psychology, hoping to study one of the other two careers in Chile, after finishing. So lately, I thought about studying a gastronomy technical career after finishing the psychology degree. And also, to have as a hobby the construction and indu...

Changes to my study program

Hi! It's me again. today I want to talk to you about the changes that I would like to make in my study program.  As I have mentioned on other occasions, I study in FACSO, the psychology degree. In this career, there are quite a few things that I would like to change so I will go detailing them one by one. First the facilities, in terms of structure. In FACSO, the rooms are small, sometimes there are courses of 65 students and many of them are left without a place. This is also because there are no more tables or chairs, because of the little space there is. Another thing, with regard to this, is that there are some precarious conditions, such as the one mentioned above, in addition to the lack of heating and ventilation in each of the rooms. Many times in the summer, it is unbearable to be in the rooms, because of the number of people and the hot air that forms. In addition to this, in FACSO, there is no casino for students either, there is a casino-style venue,...
